Home Improvement Reference Center and
Book Index with Reviews

North Hampton Public Library has just added two EBSCOhost databases to the library web site. Home Improvement Reference Center is for the do-it-yourself projects around the house with detailed color instructions to help you complete electrical, plumbing, woodworking, regular household maintenance, decorating, and outdoor projects. For the book lover the library has added Book Index With Reviews (BIR) which helps you find information on the books you want and need to read. BIR is a cooperative effort between NoveList, EBSCO Publishing and Baker & Taylor. Browse new books by subject, author, title, or Dewey Decimal number. Read reviews, a summary, and find out how others liked the book as well. Out of print books can also be researched.
